Oilers Grab Game 5, Make It Back-to-Back Home Victories
Ekholm, Broberg, and Skinner Shine Bright for Edmonton
Mic'd Up Ekholm Steals the Show
Game 5 was all about the Swedes as Mattias Ekholm, playing with a microphone attached to his jersey, stole the show with his vocal leadership and physical play. He was a force on the ice, dishing out big hits and providing a steady presence on the Oilers' blue line.
Evan Bouchard joined the party, notching two assists on Broberg's goal and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' empty-netter. Jack Campbell made 30 saves to earn the victory, including a spectacular glove save on a late Flames power play.
